Installing solar on different roof aspects allows a better spread of solar production during the day. An east-west install allows for an earlier start and later finish to the solar production over installing all the panels on a north facing roof.
This install in Dernancourt allowed a split between the east and north without having any panels face the street. The early morning production happens as everyone gets ready for the day allowing the customer to use more of the power they are producing.
